Glenhaven Skatepark Update
Portland Parks & Recreation has been working with City Council to allow for a design-build process rather than the more traditional design-bid-build process. This will permit only qualified skatepark companies to design and build Portland's next skatepark. This request will go before City Council on October 19th. Then the next step is the Request for Proposal (RFP) to hire a design-build skatepark contractor. PP&R hopes to have the RFP out in November. The RFP and contractor selection process will take roughly six weeks. For more information please contact Bryan Aptekar (503) 823-5594
