| Question: When do we go to our staging area?
Answer: Go to your staging area if your NET is activated by your telephone
tree. If there is an obvious disaster, such as an earthquake, that
has probably disrupted the telephone lines, assume that your NET has been
activated, and go to your staging area. Take care of your family
and immediate neighbors before going to your staging area, and look for
problem areas on the way.
Question: If my NET captain hasn't shown up yet who is in charge? Answer: The first person to arrive is in charge until someone
more willing or able arrives and takes over. That's one reason we
all need to know how to do all the jobs, especially if we are a small NET.
Question: If we suspect a hazardous materials spill, who should we call? Answer: (Who has an answer?) |
