June 1964 The most spectacular canyons are slot canyons, many of which are several hundreds of feet deep, often wider at their bottoms that at their tops. This is the upper end of one of them, probably False Entrance Canyon (Also known as "Pickax Canyon" and "Mountain Sheep Canyon"). |
