Phil Hamilton, Don Baack, and Larry McLaughlin setting steps This is one of the the many construction projects done by volunteers from the SWTrails Group.  Many of these projects give easy, convenient pedestrian access to connections between parts of the neighborhoods that previously required walking on hazardous, busy streets lacking adequate walkways.
