SW Trails Group Walks  (Second Saturday of each month, 9am.)

All hikes begin at the Oak Tree by the Hillsdale Dance Studio and entrance to Wilson High School where Capitol Highway and SW Sunset Blvd intersect, 9 am, children and leashed dogs welcome.  Strollers would not be appropriate.   SWTrails maps available for purchase on all hikes.  Hikes proceed at a moderate rate, rests are frequent.  Phyliss Towne will be leading most hikes, 503-223-3723.

We will walk a loop trip along Terwilliger Blvd and along a segment of Hellen Ferrens Memorial Trail.

Walk 5 - 6 miles with 500 feet elevation gain.

Our walk today will be in conjunction with Pedestrian Summit II.  Mayor Tom Potter will be the keynote speaker followed by by workshops and a walk of approximately three miles in the southwest area.  Meeting place is Multnomah Art Center, 7688 SW Capitol Hwy, and the time is 8:30 A.M.  To register, phone 503-823-5057 or visit website:
